Future Mogul Academy

Future Mogul Academy is a hands-on, immersive entrepreneurship program for teens/students ages 13-17, designed to develop the next generation of game-changers. This 10 week program is for high school students with a passion for innovation and leadership that are interested in learning how to transform their ideas into a profitable business venture.

Mission & Goals: The mission of the Future Mogul Academy is to foster and support the next generation of entrepreneurs by equipping teens with the knowledge, resources and tools needed to turn their ideas into successful ventures that create value and impact in their communities and across the globe. 

We aim to do this through our program goals, which include:

  1. Exposing students to the world of entrepreneurship by introducing the basics of business building, money management and leadership principles.

  2. Exposing students to real-world challenges, opportunities and various successful business models.

  3. Providing students with hands-on experience with real-world business challenges

  4. Developing critical thinking, problem-solving and leadership skills.

  5. Fostering an atmosphere that promotes creativity, innovation, self-confidence, a growth mindset, and a passion for entrepreneurship.

Who This is For:

  1. High school students (grades 9-12) that attend schools within Los Angeles Unified School District.

  2. Students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA 

  3. Students interested in pursuing entrepreneurship post-high school

Program Structure: Future Mogul Academy will run as a 10-week afterschool program designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge needed to start and run a successful business. Each 90 minute session will be comprised of the following:

Workshops teaching business fundamentals, including marketing, sales, management, etc.

  1. Project-based learning experiences that challenge students to apply their entrepreneurial skills to real-world problems.

  2. Team building exercises to develop communication and collaboration skills.

  3. Guest speakers and mentorship from successful entrepreneurs in various industries to provide insights and inspiration.

The program will wrap with a pitch competition where students will have the opportunity to present their business idea and win prizes, startup funding, etc.
